Contracts for Difference (CfD) Subsidy Analysis

Contracts for Difference (CfD) subsidy analysis for biomass, solar, onshore and offshore wind. This spreadsheet uses the raw data available from the Low Carbon Contract Company (LCCC) and analyses electricity generation, subsidies received, individual strike prices for CfD units, weighted average strike prices for different technology types, weighted intermittent market reference prices, subsidies per MWh and load factors. The time period covered is from the inception of the scheme to April 2025.
